Scamcheck India is an Initiative by SAFECOM Internet and Ecomm Safety Foundation, a section 25 Company, formed to fight the Scams and Fraud happening on the Internet. Established in 2021 Foundation had a visit to reduce the Cyber Frauds, Since they SAFCOM working with various industry leaders in India and outside India to launch various Early detection and warning tools which will help citizens of frauds before they fall for it.
SAFECOM Focuses on building Network of IT Experts and Developers who are willing to create a safe experience for the Internet Users. We believe that Safeguarding the Internet Users is the primary responsibility of the Developer Community who develops the Variety of Sites, apps and social media platforms.
In 2019 India witnessed around 1.2 Trillion Rs lost in the SCAMS and FRAUDS, total 123 Million Scams this is alarming as Internet Penetration is around 636 Million and this will keep on increasing day by day. We believe if we put our efforts at right place we should be able to at least reduce the Frauds by 5 – 10% in coming months, which will save around 600 to 12000 CR of the hard earned money of Indian Citizens. Scamcheck Portal is formed to to help people to find the tools developed for keeping Citizens safe from fraudsters along with spreading awareness and news.
